Energy Resources LLC, the private sector’s highest taxpayer, was founded on this day 21 years ago. One of the largest developments in Ukhaa Khudag is the coal processing plant built there with an investment of 450 billion MNT.
The plant, which produces value-added goods domestically, has the capacity to wash 15 million tons of coal a year.
Over the past 21 years, Energy Resources has also built a power plant to supply the mining complex and Tsogttsetsii soum with uninterrupted electricity 24 hours a day.
In addition, by developing the Cetsii 1 and 2 housing complexes in phases, a new residential area has emerged in Tsogttsetsii soum, 560 km from the capital. Under its long-term employment agreements, the company provides staff with free housing.
Furthermore, the commissioning of the Muruudul Education Complex, with a school for 640 children, a kindergarten for 140 children, and a dormitory for 100 children, has become a comprehensive development project that addressed employment and social needs in the remote soum.
