Energy Resources LLC, the highest tax-paying private-sector company, was founded on this day 21 years ago. One of the largest projects it has built in Ukhaa Khudag is the coal processing plant that involved an investment of 450 billion MNT.
This plant, which produces value-added products domestically, has the capacity to wash 15 million tons of coal a year.
Over the past 21 years, Energy Resources has built a power plant that supplies the mining complex and Tsogttsetsii soum with uninterrupted electricity around the clock.
In addition, by constructing the Tsetsii 1 and 2 housing complexes in phases, a new residential area has emerged in Tsogttsetsii soum, 560 km from the capital. Under long-term employment contracts, the company also provides employees with free housing.
It has also put into operation the Muruudul Educational Complex, which includes a school for 640 children, a kindergarten for 140 children, and a dormitory for 100 children. This comprehensive development has addressed employment and social needs in the remote soum.
